The fondamental principles that regulate the actions of AJAS are christians and purely based on biblical values, wich can be summerised in: 
- The protection for health and life; 
- Friendship,support and promotion of human beings; 
- Serve without judging; 
- Follow Christ as an example; 
- Unity is strenth, or Together, Each can Accomplish More (TEAM); 
- Compassion for the suffring people or marginalized; 
- Christian unity; 
- High regard for human rigt and dignity; 
- The commitment to work together in synergy or network.
